11"For the sake of your name, O Lord, forgive my iniquity, though it is great.
14"The LORD confides in those who fear him; he makes his covenant known to them.
21"May integrity and uprightness protect me, because my hope is in you."
Psalm 25 (NIV)

- Work - prayer and praise about employment - see below for more details. I get the feeling this could be leading up to a period of change in my situation, but I know that God is directing it all, so it's got to be good!
- Rest - after the two July camps I need to have some time away, and so I'm going to be in the UK for 4 weeks, mixing time between family and Nottingham (and maybe a couple of other stops too). Please pray that I will be physically and spiritually refreshed for my return to Montenegro.

- 2 - 6 Aug - Camp Monty in Niksic, a non-residential sports/English learning camp organised every summer by Life Impact for Eternity in conjunction with the church in Niksic. Last year there were more than 100 young people attending towards the end of the week.
- 11 - 18 Aug - I plan to be in Nottingham
- 25 Aug - Return to Montenegro

- Student camp - the first of hopefully more camps organised with UCCF to reach students from Niksic and further afield. We had only a small number of local students come along to this camp, but a good time was had by all, with daily Bible teaching, cultural and sports events. The venue was a wonderful ski centre in the mountains above Niksic. It was a learning experience as well from the point of viewing of organising it, and it seems very likely that we will repeat this next summer.
- Teenage camp - this camp started two days after the student camp finished, and was a more polished and dynamic time sharing the message of God's love and its implications for us and our relationships. This was a learning curve for me, too, having not been a leader on a teenage camp before. Six of our teenagers from Niksic went and by the end of the camp the participants were wishing it could go on for another week. Photos from this are on Facebook.

- Work details - my contract at the university has not renewed, as I was not able to obtained some necessary paperwork by July 1st. I now have this document, but I will have to wait until the end of August to find out about my future there. Around the same time I signed a part-time contract with a media monitoring firm in Podgorica and on Aug 2nd started a month trial period for this proofreading job, with the possibility of a year-long contract afterwards. God has also blessed me with other freelance work, which at least gives me some stability while the university decide whether they want to keep me or not. If not, then I will have to move out of university accommodation and find a new place to live. In all of this, I am absolutely sure of God's guiding hand, and quite excited about the possibilities.
