"God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble. Submit yourselves, then, to God. "
James 4:6-7 (NIV)

- Leading services - our pastor Stanisa was away again for a couple of weeks, leaving Danijel and me to look after the administration of the church. God is slowly teaching us and giving us experience. We took turns preaching and leading services.

- 6 June - Joint conference for all Christians in Montenegro. In previous years this has happened in the winter, and has been characterised by people huddling together for warmth (which is good for fellowship), but this time it will be in the tropical heat of a Podgorica summer!

- Outings -
there were some joint outings with the Brethren Church in Podgorica on May 1st and then May 21st, to which I took a respectable contingent of teenagers and kids from our church. The weather has nearly turned to summer, but with the occasional shower, so there will probably be more such trips to enjoy the countryside.
- John and Catherine - from Cornerstone church visited me last month bringing greetings and encouragement from my sending church, and we had a very enjoyable time. It was good from both our points of view that someone from Cornerstone could see first hand what the situation is like, what activities the church is involved with and something of the country of Montenegro. Ask them for details!
