"If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever."
1 Peter 4:11b (NIV)

- Visit by Danish students - during 2003-4 and 2005-6 the Danish IFES movement (KFS) sent and supported two couples who worked with young people in Podgorica and Niksic. Hanne, one of these Danes, organised a mission trip for students of a Bible school in Denmark to help out Danijel, myself and the church in Niksic, as well as other churches in Montenegro. We hosted 12 people and their trip was very successful in organising many public events and making contact with many local students. The "Danish Evening" at the university in Niksic attracted about 50 students and was a sprigboard for inviting students to subsequent events. A talk on "The Meaning of Life" at Café Atrium packed out the small venue with about 30 people in all. The English conversation club was moved to a larger venue to cope with a similar number of people. Café Atrium was also the venue for a student Bible study, and was similarly filled to overflowing. Contacts having been made and people's attention having been got, the more long-term work of follow-up of people interested in knowing more starts now. We hope that the summer English language camp will be a significant event in students coming to true faith in the Lord.

- Early April - charity concert. Danijel and I have been invited to play a set at a concert at the university by the student union in aid of an orphanage on the coast of Montenegro. Pray that we will get some new songs and a band together.
- Early April - Sondre and Jonas, in Niksic on an exchange programme return to their native Norway to finish their year of study in Christian mission. Pray that we and they will be able to finish outstanding projects - particularly I want to mention a CD of Christian songs that we have been recording, which needs a lot of time spent on it to finish it by the time they leave.

- Work - Things have been rather quiet on the work front, so I have started teaching at a private language school and taken on some private lessons myself.
- Accommodation - please see below for the change of address. The internet connection is proving to be problematic, as the telephone lines in this part of the town are not capable of supporting unbroken ADSL broadband, and the alternatives (mobile broadband or microwave link) are more expensive than I was hoping for. However, my new house is nice, warm and homely.
